every woman on tumblr should have this on their dash

And every man

Look how nobody’s yelling or arguing or making things into a competition. Look how this is to straight up educate people through a different perspective. Look how effective that makes the message.

I like this because it’s the little things.

If Klaus adopted Marcel and in fact named him, why did he not give Marcel the last name Mikaelson instead Gerard?

I don’t get it. Who is Gerard? His father/slave owner asshole who treated him like shit?

Why did Klaus not give Marcel his last name instead?

I don’t get.

You know you right? Klaus named Marcel and took him in as his own. Why not give him his last name?

Probably because technically Klaus isn’t a Mikaelson. Marcel would be Marcel Niklauson but frankly I think the lack of Niklauson is more Klaus protecting him in his own way.

  • Question: Do you think that regarding love Klaus and Rebekah want the exact same thing but they took the very extreme opposite ways about it? Both want to be really loved but Klaus denied it completely (imo bc of fear) and Rebekah gave her heart to everyone who approached her. I don't think that Rebekah actually loved anyone S-M-M she just loved the idea of being in love and had that love returned. I'd like to see Rebekah have a true meaningful love story - Anonymous

Actually I think that’s a pretty astute observation, which is of course much more interesting considering that Klaus and Rebekah have a very yin and yang sort of relationship with each other (or perhaps more appropriately they just fill in the gaps of each other). Of course it makes sense that a girl who became a vampire at Rebekah’s age would be obsessed with the notion of falling in love and that someone with Klaus’ human life would be terrified at the idea of love, but I do find it quite interesting that Rebekah not only seeks out love so desperately, but that she essentially defers to Klaus’ judgment about the decisions that she makes. She “falls in love” with so many men, but if Klaus deems them unacceptable (usually by killing them) she seems to get over the loss fairly quickly. That could of course be because she doesn’t fully understand what romantic love is and she’s just going through the motions, but it also speaks to the possibility that she’s seeking out these relationships because Klaus can’t, and when he finds her choices to be inferior or unacceptable she moves on and tries again.

get to know me meme : [3/5] favorite tv showsFriday Night Lights

"Gentlemen, the time has come for me to move on. I will always remember the feeling of that hot breeze slapping my face as I walked onto the field on a hot Friday night in Texas… The sizzle of the hot dogs grilling up the concession stand… The smell of the grass… The vibrations from the bleachers as the crowd first roars… And all of your hopeful eyes shining out from underneath those helmets. And you will always be part of me. In my heart and my soul, you are my family. I ask only this of you: Wherever you go, whatever you do, remember this time. Remember this time, when together, we accomplished the impossible. I know wherever I go, whatever I do, I will take these memories with me. I will cherish these memories. Always."

Oh my god, Tyler being the one to kill Hayley and Nope in the season finale was what I was hoping for literally from the moment I saw the backdoor pilot.

I still hope that Tyler triggers his werewolf gene by killing Hayley or Nope…

Let’s face it, he’s still living in the supernatural Wild West and needs to get his powers back.

Yeah I was kinda under the impression thay they had taken both tylers vampire and werewolf sides away and left him human/untriggered. And was wondering if Tyler would start aggressively trying to find a way to get it all back. Maybe seducing the new witch Liv into making him an ubber vamp and then triggering after words kinda like Klaus turned originally a thousand years ago :-) A girl can dream but that would involve some independent thought out of him ( which the writers almost never allow Tyler to have) or someone else talks him into it. However in theory Hope technically could be the new Elena to his Klaus.Meaning sacrificing her as a being that can make hybrids could be what gets him his abilities back.

However I don’t think killing Hayley or um lol I think you call her NOPE? will trigger his werewolf curse as I think he’d have to kill a human to trigger.
